🎣 Harbour Harvest Perch Photo Contest 2026

The perch didn’t show up on event day… so now we’re going to find them!

We’re launching the Harbour Harvest Perch Photo Contest — and there’s $300 in prizes up for grabs, plus the official Longest Perch 2026 trophy.

🏆 Two Divisions. Two Ways to Win.

1️⃣ Youth Division (16 & Under)

  • Any size perch qualifies
  • Send a photo of you and your fish
  • Every eligible entry is entered into a random draw for $150

This is about getting outside, having fun, and celebrating young anglers — not just size.


2️⃣ Longest Perch Division (All Ages)

  • Open to any age
  • Submit a clear photo showing the full length of your perch *see instructions below
  • The angler with the longest perch wins
    • 🏆 The Harbour Harvest Longest Perch Trophy
    • 💰 $150 cash prize

  1. Catch a perch.
  2. Take a clear photo:
    • Youth division: Photo of you with your fish
    • Longest perch division: Fish laid flat with a measuring tape clearly visible
  3. Post your photo on Instagram or Facebook.
  4. Tag @dropinsports.ca
  5. Use hashtags:

    #PerchContest

📍 Eligibility Notes

  • Youth division is open to anglers 16 years and under.
  • Longest perch division is open to all ages.
  • Trophy winner must be located in the National Capital Region or be able to arrange pickup.
  • By submitting, you grant permission for Harbour Harvest to share your photo on social media and promotional materials.
